Anthony Stevenson

Son of a retired US Navy Commander, Anthony was present at the first
Gathering of Ealges in Washington, DC on March 17th.  That refreshing
change from what he was used to in Chapel Hill prompted him to organize
this UNC Rally.  Anthony received his bachelors degree from the
University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, and is now
pursuing a PhD in chemistry at UNC.

MAJ Ted Kaiser joined the army in 1993 and received his commission as an Armor officer from the US Military Academy at West Point in 1997.

He served in the 1st Armor Division in Germany from 1997 to 2000 where he deployed to Macedonia in support of the NATO mission.

Subsequently, he served in the 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, TX from 2001 to 2005 where he deployed and commanded headquarters company, 1st brigade, as part of Task Force Baghdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

He received the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq.

His wife Beverly has supported him from the beginning of his service, supporting the soldiers and their wives in his command and raising his three children, Whitney, Joanne, and William, alone during his deployments.

Kaiser is now working on his Masters Degree in Chemistry through the US Army Student Detatchment at UNC.

Performers

Dwain Cleveland and Frank Exum, both veterans, wrote "Old Glory" to raise money for disabled veterans.

"I wrote the lyrics and Frank got the music straightened out," Dwain said, "but the song came from the folks that didn't come back from our war - we're just the delivery boys."

Since then it has become something of an anthem for the folks at GoE, especially since its use in the youtube video Why Eagles Gathered.

The song, its lyrics, and a bit about the writers can be found here

STUCK MOJO
A hard-rock band from Atlanta, Stuk Mojo is known for their powerful message-driven music, and are extremely vocal about their support for the military and war on terrorism. They are very excited to be able to participate in this event, and have agreed to do the show at a fraction of their usual show cost to support the GoE mission! The addition of Stuck Mojo to the lineup should help to awaken the younger generations to the GoE. We're all looking forward to the show!

You can read all about the band at StuckMojoMedia.comIn addition, you can download their entire new album Southern Born Killers FREE at their site.
