Why I Stand The Line
You have to remember these people have over 40 years experience tearing down people and this country. We have a big learning curve but we do one helluva job combating these fools.
They got the money, they got the power, they have the experience but I also remember the story of David and Goliath in the Bible and I remember the story of a few standing on the Commons and fired the shot heard round the world!
With honor, sacrifice, determination and righteous is on our side, I am of the firm belief we can kick these people's asses but good.
God also teaches in the Bible that we are tempered by fire. We get tested in the heat of battle, we get beat up and we get discouraged but He will give us strength. We are being tested by evil beyond human comprehension and WE WILL SUCEED!
I don't give a hoot in hell that there are more of them at DC than us. We are stronger, we have honor, we stand for good, we have courage and we have the right stuff. There is no failure for the Eagles. Only success!
Just a handful of Eagles in Charlotte have invaded the vermin virus in the bastion of liberalism. And we ran their ass off into a small corner on the sidewalk! They bring little children to stand in front of them while 5 to 8000 vehicles speed past them just a few inches from these children.
They are doomed to failure because their hearts are contaminated with evil and they do in fact eat their own!
Come Wednesday, our Band of Brothers and Sisters will once again take these people to task. And once again they will run from the field of battle and we shall remain victorious.
In July, I past the milestone of 38 years coming home from the war. I generally do not talk much about the bad stuff but I must tell this story. My Cav Troop was flying a fire support mission for a 9th Infantry Company in the Delta. I don't remember who they were. I do remember this part.
A soldier had stepped on a land mine and it took his legs off. They called for a Dustoff and it was 20 minutes out. We decided to throw some ammo out the door to make room and weight reduction to pick this brother up and beat feet to the hospital at Long Binh.
We hovered above the water in the rice paddy as they brought this soldier to the ship. Loaded Charlie Model Gunships are not good at this! His legs were gone and the femoral arteries were tied off to the femur to stop the massive bleeding. His guts were in a C ration box so the water and dirt would not contaminate them any further. We took the medic also and we were receiving fire as we loaded him.
On the way, this soldier, this brother was received unto the bosom of God. I never knew his name. But he was and still is my brother. He had more honor than any asshole mOOnbat I have ever met times one million.
I see his face in my dreams from time to time. I owe him and my 54 brothers in A Troop more than I ever can give of myself. Many of you know what I am talking about.
When I become a little frustrated standing in DC or in anywhere else, I remember his face and his voice calling out for his mother.
I apologize to him and the others on the Wall and tell them I shall stand in their place and to forgive me for being selfish of whining about the way things are.
Quit, I cannot, never. I owe that soldier everything in my being to carry out the mission and win!
Kristinn did a hellava job. He has the right stuff too and the righteous of his dedication will win out every time.
God Bless the Eagles.
Faithfully Yours,
J. Waldo Pepper, Sr.
